Python for Series 60 Released The less technically inclined may think that Python is a new Snake version for the series 60. Wrong. The release of Pythong for the series 60 means that one of the most powerful (and rather widely used) scripting languages on Linux and a number of other platforms is now finally available for the most prevalent pocket platform. Personally, I think that the Python release means a lot more than the availability of Java (the learning curve for Python is supposed to be a lot less steep than for Java).
